DFGAHO leads emergency preparedness and response efforts through a coordinated system that includes real-time surveillance, rapid deployment of medical teams, and logistical support to affected regions. It activates its Strategic Health Operations Centre (SHOC) and uses the Incident Management System (IMS) to organize international efforts. DFGAHO also works with countries to strengthen emergency operation centres, ensure early detection of outbreaks, and mobilize vaccines, diagnostics, and treatment kits swiftly.
